The theme of world annihilation is not novel, but what makes 'Red Jihad' stand out from the other stories and novels written on this theme is that it fictionalizes on the religious fundamentalism and political terrorism. This is first ever novel that talks about allies between the jihadis and the Naxalites. It is a heart racing thriller that keeps the reader on the edge throughout the novel.

The story of this novel begins in 2014 when Pakistan has become a full-fledged democracy and getting reconciled with India. But as usual there are forces always working against the peace ties, and so is the case here.
